With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control.

Tubeless Ready (TR)Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure and therefore have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with hose, and where there is no hose, the risk of breakdowns is also reduced. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tires, because the bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting is successful with the first inflation and with little liquid on all rims that comply with the standard dimensions.
NEW EXO+ PROTECTIONMaxxis's new EXO+ has a 60TPI casing as opposed to the old EXO+ that has a 120TPI casing. The new EXO+ casing is also coated in a new tear-resistant topping rubber. The rubberized EXO material is added to the sidewalls as well as a short butyl insert above each bead. This results in the new EXO+ having nearly twice the tread and sidewall puncture resistance with a roughly 20% increase in pinch cut resistance.

This high traction compound is the same one used by our top World Cup Downhill and Enduro World Series athletes and is now available in a variety of casing configurations to cover all riders.
New MaxxTerraMaxxis has unveiled an updated version of its MaxxTerra rubber compound, promising notable gains in durability and grip without compromising rolling speed. The revised compound delivers a 30 per cent increase in tread wear and durability, alongside a 15 per cent boost in traction over the outgoing version.
Wide Trail (WT) Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tire’s tread layout and profile on today’s modern, wider rims. Traditional tires are designed around older, narrower rims and can create an overly square tire profile, leading to less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for a 35mm inner rim width but are proven to work over a range from 30-35mm inner rim widths, depending on the rider’s preference.
