The Fighting 69th Irish Whiskey honors the 69th Infantry Regiment of the New York Army National Guard, the historic Irish Brigade that has celebrated its Irish heritage since the Civil War and still leads New York's St. Patrick's Day Parade every year. This is the regiment's first official Irish whiskey, a blend distilled and aged in Ireland and bottled at 80 proof. It is a classic, smooth Irish blend: honey, vanilla and light cereal sweetness on the nose, a soft palate with orchard fruit and gentle oak, and a clean, easy finish. It is built for toasts, for a shot alongside a pint, and for an Irish coffee or a whiskey ginger. With the regiment's crest on the label, this 750ml bottle is a natural gift for veterans, Irish-American families and anyone with a connection to the Fighting 69th.
