Taylor Next Generation 552ce 12-Fret 12-String Acoustic Electric w/Case
A compact, easy-playing 12-string with warm cedar response and focused mahogany shimmer
The Taylor Next Generation 552ce 12-Fret brings the depth and sparkle of a 12-string into a compact cutaway Grand Concert platform. Its Western Red cedar top adds warmth and touch sensitivity, while mahogany back and sides keep the octave shimmer focused with clear midrange definition. The short 24-7/8-inch scale and 12-fret design create a relaxed, accessible feel that makes this model especially welcoming to players moving into 12-string guitar.
Features
The 552ce combines Taylor's Action Control Neck and Claria System electronics with standard V-Class bracing tuned for balanced projection and sustain. A 1-7/8-inch nut provides the spacing needed for twelve strings without making the instrument feel cumbersome, while a paddle-style peghead and Taylor Nickel Mini tuners keep the design practical and familiar. A Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Case is included.
