Test-fit each guard: Position the guards against the frame before applying any tape.

Clean the frame: Remove dirt, oil, and residue from every adhesion area.

Allow the frame to dry: Adhesive should only be applied to a completely clean and dry surface.

Apply the included tape: Place the double-sided adhesive securely along the designated contact areas.

Position the guards: Carefully align each guard before pressing it against the frame.

Press firmly: Apply even pressure across the guards to establish a strong bond.

Installation tip: Avoid washing the bike or exposing the newly installed guards to unnecessary moisture immediately after installation.

WANT A CUSTOM COLOR?

Both colors can be used as the starting point for a completely custom finish. Paint the guards separately from the bike so you can control the preparation, color, finish, and curing process without risking overspray on your Talaria.

Test-fit first: Confirm fitment before sanding or painting.

Lightly scuff: Use 600–800 grit sandpaper or a fine gray scuff pad.

Clean thoroughly: Remove dust, oil, and fingerprints with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.

Apply adhesion promoter: Use a plastic-compatible adhesion promoter according to its instructions.

Apply your color: Spray multiple light, even coats instead of one heavy coat.

Add clear coat: Apply a compatible clear coat if additional gloss and protection are desired.

Allow full curing: Wait at least 48–72 hours or follow the paint manufacturer’s full curing period.

Install after curing: Apply the included adhesive tape only after the finish has completely cured.

WHY FRAME GUARDS INSTEAD OF POWDER COATING?
TAP TO COMPARE ▼

Powder coating normally requires completely tearing down the bike, transporting the frame, waiting for professional coating, and rebuilding everything afterward.

These frame guards deliver a dramatic visual change in minutes with no complete teardown. You can install them immediately, remove them later, or paint them any color you want.

Less downtime. Less labor. More flexibility.

⚠️ COLOR SELECTION: Choose either black or white before adding the product to your cart. Custom painting is optional and is completed by the customer after delivery.
