Batch Proof 119.5 is the 2024 Woodford Reserve cask-strength release — VinePair reviewed it favorably for the leather, cherry, and buttery corn that the 90-proof bottle only hints at. Woodford Reserve is Brown-Forman's showpiece distillery on Glenn's Creek in Versailles, Kentucky, distilling since 1812 on the site and running the only triple copper pot stills in bourbon; the standard bottle is cut to 90.4 proof, and Batch Proof is the same bourbon — 72% corn, 18% rye, 10% malted barley, triple pot-distilled, aged in heat-cycled warehouses — batched and bottled uncut, a different proof every year. The 2024 is 119.5 proof. The Whiskey Wash on Batch Proof: old leather and buttery corn with a remarkable cherry character that opens in the glass — ranked fourth of every Woodford made. Expect Woodford's fruit-and-spice pot-still signature at full weight — dried cherry, caramel, toasted oak, rye cinnamon — with a viscous body and a long, warm finish. Honest note: enthusiasts who write off Woodford as a 90-proof gift bourbon change their minds at Batch Proof — the 2024 sits between the 118.4 and the 124.7 in strength and is the one to open now. Neat, a drop of water, time. Batch Proof, 119.5.Buy Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Batch Proof 119.5 Bourbon Whiskey 2024 online with fast shipping right to your door.
