extends stylus life
easy, no tool installation
adjustable height - can be configured to work with any tonearm clearance height setting on Technics SL-1200/1210
only interacts with tonearm at end of record, does not affect sound quality

"This self-powered mechanism ingeniously converts your Technics into a semi-automatic turntable by lifting the tonearm at the end of a record. This will lengthen the life of your stylus and avoid the scratchy sounds in the run out groove. You can also fine tune the lifter with included tool." - TTL
