Taylor NOS Jacob Collier Academy 22e5-String Acoustic Electric

Unique alternate tuning, compact comfort, and exceptional NOS Taylor value

The Taylor NOS Jacob Collier Academy 22e 5-String Acoustic Electric offers a fresh and inspiring playing experience with Jacob Collier's preferred DAEAD tuning in a compact, approachable Taylor design. It gives players the chance to own a distinctive Taylor Acoustic Electric at a lower price, while still enjoying excellent playability, dependable plugged-in performance, and the thoughtful comfort features that make it easy to pick up and keep playing.

Compact design with a warm, woody voice
The Grand Concert body keeps the feel comfortable and manageable, while the solid walnut top and layered walnut back and sides produce a warm, woody midrange with clear treble response and solid low-end presence. This tonal balance works especially well with the model's 5-string DAEAD setup, giving players a different harmonic palette without losing clarity or musicality.

Built for easy, relaxed playing
A built-in beveled armrest helps create a smoother, more relaxed feel for the strumming arm, and Taylor's slender neck design makes fretting feel easy and approachable. The smoked eucalyptus fretboard adds a smooth playing surface, making this a rewarding option for newer players, songwriters, and experienced musicians looking for a different tuning experience in a comfortable format.

Plug-in convenience with smart NOS savings
Fishman Presys VT electronics provide clear amplified acoustic tone with soundhole-mounted controls for practical stage and home use. As a Taylor NOS model, this guitar also offers excellent value - giving players access to a unique signature Taylor instrument, dependable performance, and long-term reliability while keeping more money in their pocket than a comparable current production model.

Why choose the Taylor NOS Jacob Collier Academy 22e 5-String
This model is an excellent fit for players who want something genuinely different from a standard Acoustic Electric. Its 5-string configuration, Jacob Collier DAEAD tuning, compact Grand Concert body, and comfortable Taylor feel make it a standout choice for creative players seeking fresh voicings, inspiring response, and strong NOS value.
