Pinhook 5 Year Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey｜ Other Products

Pinhook 5 Year Cask Strength is the brand's five-year bourbon at full barrel proof — 119.2 proof for the 2025 vintage — and a gold at the 2025 Bartender Spirits Awards. Sean Josephs, a sommelier who ran Char No. 4 and Maysville in New York, founded Pinhook in 2010 — a pinhooker buys young horses and sells them trained — and blends every vintage fresh with Castle & Key in Frankfort; the Cask Strength is small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon from a 75% corn, 15% rye, 10% malted barley mashbill, aged five years, bottled uncut at 119.2 proof, and named for a racehorse like every Pinhook. The house notes for 2025: baked apple, cedar, butterscotch, and nutmeg on the nose; mango, elderflower, marshmallow, and candied cinnamon on a lively palate; and a long, warm finish of deep oak and balanced sweetness. Expect the Pinhook vintage character — fruit-forward, spiced, a little wild — at a proof that carries the five years with weight. Honest note: the Vertical Series is Pinhook's collector's project; this is the barrel-proof bottle for drinking — five-year Kentucky bourbon uncut for the price of a Stagg Jr. that you can actually find. Neat, a drop of water. Pinhook, five years, cask strength.Buy Pinhook 5 Year Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
