Made by one of the three that survived, founded in 1832 and owned by the Loch Lomond Group, Victoriana is aged in ex-bourbon casks, then split, with seventy percent finished in heavily charred American oak and thirty percent in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, before being married and bottled at cask strength.At 103 proof, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, it offers caramel, brown sugar, pineapple, mango and a touch of cinnamon on the nose, then crème brûlée, milk chocolate, sea salt and caramel on a rich palate, finishing with mint, spice and lingering salted caramel.
