Sainte Louise French Brandy is a classic grape brandy from France, distilled from wine and aged in oak barrels for a mellow, approachable spirit at a friendly price. It follows the traditional French method without carrying the Cognac appellation, which is what keeps the cost down.It pours a rich amber. The nose is dried fruit, warm spice and a hint of vanilla; the palate balances ripe fruit, subtle oak and a touch of sweetness in a velvety texture, and the finish is smooth and warming. It works neat or over ice and is a natural for cocktails and cooking: a Brandy Alexander, a Sidecar, hot spiced cider, or a splash in a pan sauce or a flambé.This 750ml bottle is a reliable everyday brandy for the home bar and the kitchen.
